FCS AN/PRC-152(A) Tactical Communication Radio
The FCS AN/PRC 152(A) is an optimized version of the original product, developed by FCS with a focus on usability for enthusiasts while staying as close as possible to the original style. The radio features a full metal body that aims to replicate the CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) finish of the original product. Extensive polishing and comparison work has been undertaken to achieve a realistic replication of the original surface quality.
Unlike existing replica 152 radios on the market, the FCS AN/PRC 152(A) metal radio is developed from the ground up with an independently built architecture at the software level. It includes developed source code for the interactive interface and I/O interfaces, making it the first handheld radio with such capabilities.
Enthusiasts interested in software development can perform secondary development on the FCS AN/PRC 152(A). Optimization of the operational logic and user experience is based on the original product, simplifying its complex menu structure and many unnecessary programs and functions, thereby creating an interface and operational logic that align with enthusiast habits. It offers multiple operation methods, including top knob controls, keyboard shortcut operations, KDU (Key Display Unit) separate panel controls, and PC software for frequency writing.
For the first time in similar products, it features a KDU separate operation panel, enabling quick operation of the FCS AN/PRC 152(A). The KDU separate operation panel is a fully functional control panel that allows for complete operation of the FCS AN/PRC 152(A).
FCS has specifically customized CPS (Computer Programming Software) for PC operation and wireless upgrade software for mobile devices for the FCS AN/PRC 152(A). The software interface is elegantly designed and offers intuitive and straightforward operation.
